Who is Whalesong Arts? 

Whalesong Arts is an art studio by me, Carol Mackiewicz Neely, and it started in 2012 when I lived in Bullhead City, Arizona.  Out of my apartment, I started a facebook page sharing my drawings and paintings.  I then moved into an art studio in Willington, CT in 2014, where I've been ever since!

I chose the name Whalesong Arts as a reference to the deep, melodious songs sung by whales (my favorite ocean creature), who travel far distances around the globe and dive incomprehensible depths.  Whales being graceful, at times silent and subtle, other times bold and present, Whalesong Arts embodies these qualities and I'm ever seeking depths in myself and my art.
